Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. She started her career with the soaps of daytime like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several support roles on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo began her professional acting career on soap operas for daytime viewers. Navedo was in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. In 1996 she made her first appearance in film with a minor character in Girl 6. She then appeared as a character in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo appeared on Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo played a regular role in the NBC Crime Series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004.
